Vendor Market Terms and Conditions Effective Date: 3/12/25 Thank you for your interest in becoming a vendor at Gather & Grow Market. By applying for a booth space at our market, you agree to the following Terms and Conditions. These terms are designed to ensure a successful and smooth experience for all vendors and participants. 1. Vendor Eligibility - All vendors must be small business owners or individuals selling original products or services. - Multi-level marketing (MLM) businesses are not permitted to participate in the market. - Vendors must comply with all local, state, and federal regulations related to their products and services. - Vendors are responsible for securing any necessary licenses or permits to operate at the market. 2. Booth Fees and Payment - Booth fees are due at the time your application is accepted and are non-refundable unless otherwise specified in our refund policy. - Payment must be made by the agreed-upon method (e.g., credit card, check, PayPal). - Booth assignments will not be made until payment is received in full. 3. Set-Up and Tear-Down - Set-Up Time: Vendors will be provided a set-up time prior to the market opening. The exact times will be provided upon acceptance of your application. - Vendors must set up their booth by the designated time and have their space ready before the event opens to the public. - Tear-Down: Vendors are expected to remain open and operate until the market closes. Early tear-down is not allowed without prior approval. - Vendors must leave their booth area clean and remove all items at the end of the event. 4. Booth and Display Guidelines - Booth sizes and locations will be assigned by the event organizer. - Vendors must keep their booths within the assigned space and may not encroach on adjacent spaces or common areas. - All displays, signage, and merchandise must be professionally presented and appropriate for the event audience. - The event organizer reserves the right to remove any displays or products that are deemed offensive, inappropriate, or in violation of event guidelines. 5. Product Restrictions - All products sold at the market must be original, hand-made, or otherwise independently produced by the vendor. - Vendors are prohibited from selling counterfeit or illegal items, including but not limited to counterfeit brand-name goods or products that do not meet safety or regulatory standards. Food vendors must adhere to health and safety regulations, including providing proof of food handling certifications or health department approvals if required. 6. Insurance and Liability - Vendors are responsible for providing their own insurance coverage for their booth, products, and operations. - The event organizer is not responsible for any damage, loss, theft, or injury that occurs during the event, whether to vendors, their employees, or customers. - Vendors are required to indemnify and hold the event organizers harmless from any claims, liabilities, or expenses arising out of their participation in the market. 7. Vendor Conduct - Vendors are expected to maintain a respectful and professional demeanor at all times during the event. - Vendors must not engage in disruptive behavior, including aggressive sales tactics, loud or offensive conduct, or harassment of other vendors or customers. - Smoking, alcohol consumption, and inappropriate behavior are not permitted within the vendor market area. 8. Cancellations and Refunds - Cancellations made by the vendor at least 21 days before the event will be eligible for a refund minus a 6% processing fee. - Cancellations made less than 21 days before the event will not be refunded. - If the event is canceled due to unforeseen circumstances (e.g., inclement weather, public health concerns), vendors will be notified as soon as possible, and the event organizer will offer an alternative or reschedule if applicable. 9. Vendor Market Changes - The event organizers reserve the right to change booth assignments, market layout, or event schedules at any time. - The event organizers may refuse vendor participation at any time if the vendor is in violation of the terms outlined here or if the vendor's behavior disrupts the success or safety of the market. 10. Health and Safety Compliance - All vendors must comply with local health and safety regulations. - Food vendors must provide appropriate handling certifications and adhere to sanitation practices as required by local health authorities. - Vendors are responsible for maintaining a safe environment around their booth, including ensuring that all displays are stable and that there are no safety hazards in their area. 11. Agreement to Terms By submitting the vendor application, the vendor acknowledges that they have read and agreed to the above terms and conditions and that they will comply with all market rules and regulations.
